7 Holistic Steps to Health and Well Being
Step 1 - Exercise
Regular exercise improves the circulation, tones the body, strengthens the immune system and keeps us fit and healthy.
Step 2 - Water
Water flushes the waste and toxins from the body, helps to give you clear eyes and skin, strengthens muscles and increases energy levels.
Step 3 - Diet
Ensure that your diet is nutritionally balanced, low in fat, sugar and salt. Eat lots of fresh organic fruit and vegetables. Take time to taste and enjoy your food. Avoid eating when you are angry or stressed.
Step 4 - Healthy Heart
Acknowledge your feelings. Repressed emotions cause disease. Talk things through with a friend.
Step 5 - Be yourself
Let your heart be present in everything you do and say, for it's there you will find integrity, the truth and the way.
Step 6 - The Breath
Learn to breathe more deeply. Breathing into the Solar Plexus helps you to release body tension, calm your emotions and clear your head.
Step 7 - Quiet Time
Sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes. Now, focus on the sound of your breath.......
Imagine you are standing unde a shower of golden light. Bathe in the sunshine and warmth of the light, and allow all your tension and stress to dissolve....
Visualise every cell in your body being filled with love, light and joy. When you are ready to wake up, take a deep energising breath, wriggle your toes, open your eyes and have a good stretch.
